American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position requiring at least 2 years of unit experience and a GA or compact RN license, with on-call and floating responsibilities.
Details- Work takes place in a hospital Cath Lab/EP setting with 3 Cath Labs and 2 EP Labs
- Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- 12-week contract
- On-call required 1 weekend per month and 1–2 weekdays per week
- Weekend work is included as part of on-call requirements
- Floating required within the facility per scope of practice and to an affiliated hospital as needed
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Copies of all relevant certifications required for consideration
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab/EP RN experience required
- Two supervisory references (manager level or above) are highly preferred; charge nurse references are not accepted
- First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
- No scheduling requests or alternate shift arrangements are permitted; the posted shift is firm
- Travel pairs may not be assigned to the same shift on the same unit
- Travelers must have been away from all facilities within this health system for at least 1 full year before returning as a traveler
- RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days and may not be requested during the first week of the assignment
- Holiday coverage is required: if 1 or 2 major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them with no holiday RTO permitted; if 3 major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler must work 2 of them and may request 1 holiday off for approval
- Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday (counted as 1), Christmas Eve/Christmas Day (counted as 1), and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day (counted as 1)
- Full compliance with onboarding requirements is required prior to the start date
