Job Summary

The Production Supervisor oversees all aspects of night/day-shift manufacturing operations, including safety, quality, production output, employee performance, and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on, floor-based leadership role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead production employees on night (or day) shift
• Meet production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards
• Monitor extrusion processes and direct line/process adjustments
• Ensure accurate inspections, documentation, and reporting
• Train, coach, motivate, and discipline employees as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized production area
• Conduct shift handoffs and communicate issues to management
• Drive continuous improvement, waste reduction, and efficiency

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of manufacturing supervisory experience (required)
• Plastic extrusion experience strongly preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working in hot or cold manufacturing environments
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• ISO experience (9001, 14001, 16949) and OSHA knowledge a plus
• Military veterans encouraged to apply
• AS or BS degree in Management or related field preferred (but not required)

Schedule

• Night shift: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
• Day shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• 12-hour shifts (2-2-3: alternating 36/48-hour weeks; “Continental Shift”)

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
