We’re looking for a hands-on, results-driven Production Manager to lead and elevate our manufacturing operations. This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll own day-to-day production, develop strong teams, and drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, and efficiency.

- Lead daily production operations, ensuring safety, quality, and output targets are consistently achieved
- Partner with the Plant Manager to plan schedules, optimize equipment usage, and coordinate maintenance downtime
- Direct and develop production supervisors and staff, ensuring proper training and accountability
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve processes
- Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify trends and implement data-driven solutions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality to enhance standards, resolve issues, and address customer concerns
- Oversee staffing decisions including hiring, coaching, performance management, and development
- Manage production planning, inventory of supplies, and critical spare parts
- Work with vendors on equipment upgrades, installations, and process improvements
- Step in as backup leadership (Plant Manager / Quality Manager) when needed
- Proven ability to lead teams in a manufacturing environment and deliver results
- Strong operational mindset with experience in production planning, scheduling, and execution
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable improvements
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
- Comfortable making timely decisions in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Experience with extrusion or similar manufacturing processes
- Background working within ISO environments (ISO 9001, 14001, IATF 16949)
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and safety programs
- Experience implementing new systems, processes, or production programs from the ground up
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- 2 years of leadership experience in manufacturing
