Full Time & Part Time (2 nights/week) Positions Available - 7pm - 7am (12 hour shifts)
American Sleep Medicine is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) who is interested in expanding their career by cross training as a Polysomnographic (Sleep) Technologist. No previous sleep experience is required - we'll train the right candidate!
Responsibilities include:
- Collect, analyze and integrate patient information
- Apply sleep monitoring equipment and CPAP/BiPAP interfaces
- Monitor patients throughout night
- Recognize and respond to sleep related disorders
- Determine final testing parameters/procedures in conjunction with the ordering physician or clinical director and laboratory protocols.
- Review the patient's history and verify the medical order.
- Follow sleep center protocols.
- Perform patient education and instruction.
- Review and evaluate sleep studies and provide feedback to staff
- Follow HIPAA policies to maintain the privacy and security of patient information.
- Comply with professional standards of conduct.Responsibilities.

Qualifications:
- CRT or RRT License in the state of Kentucky
- Must have CPR certification
