What You’ll Do
- Own the estimating process: Prepare accurate, detailed repair/rebuild estimates using Xactimate.
- Be the expert on-site: Conduct thorough inspections for fire, water, wind, mold, and other damage.
- Collaborate & negotiate: Work closely with insurance adjusters, project managers, and clients to ensure fair and timely settlements.
- Support project success: Track progress, update scopes, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
- Deliver excellence: Follow industry standards, company policies, and provide exceptional customer service at every step.
- Experience: 2 years as an Estimator in insurance restoration or construction.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in Xactimate (Level 2 Certification preferred).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Ability to read blueprints, interpret specs, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma required; Construction Management degree preferred.
- Experience with fire, water, mold, or storm restoration.
- Familiarity with Next Gear Dash, CoreLogic, or other restoration platforms.
- Ability to thrive under deadlines and adapt to changing conditions.
