Preferred Choice Restoration is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Contents Technician to join our Pack Out/Pack In Division. In this role, you will assist with the careful packing, transportation, cleaning, storage, and return of clients’ personal belongings following residential and commercial losses involving fire, water, mold, or natural disasters. This position requires a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently within a team.
Key ResponsibilitiesCarefully pack and unpack clients’ contents with accuracy and care.
Document and photograph items for inventory and tracking purposes.
Transport contents to and from storage facilities.
Clean, restore, and organize items as needed based on project requirements.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Adhere to all company safety standards, protocols, and policies.
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in contents handling, cleaning, restoration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items and work in varied environmental conditions.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).
Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required.
Must be able to reliably commute to Gilbert, AZ 85233.
Must be able to relocate prior to starting, if applicable.
Typical schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Occasional on-call or weekend work may be required.
Salary : $18 - $26
