What You’ll Do
- Lead areas of the Project Management Office as assigned.
- Lead strategic management and innovation processes to objectively organize facts, define problems, analyze alternatives, and plan action items.
- Develop objectives and action plans for putting strategies in place.
- Develop evaluation and control mechanisms for assessing strategy performance results.
- Partner with the business sponsor and key stakeholders to facilitate the development of the project charter for extra-large high-priority strategic projects.
- Partner with operational leaders to facilitate the development of the project plan.
- Manage project execution to ensure project objectives are achieved.
- Manage changes to project to ensure deliverables remain aligned with project goals.
- Position project team for success by ensuring risks are mitigated and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Manage project close-out to ensure all project items are complete.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Six to eight years of project management experience.
- Additional Qualifications:
- Must have strong communication, organization, and relationship skills.
- Must have strategic management skills.
- Project Management Professional certification preferred.
- Must have an understanding of Scrum or Agile.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
