What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marine Yard Hand position at American Marine?
The Marine Yard Hand supports daily operations of the boat yard by assisting with the movement, handling, storage, and preparation of boats and equipment. This role helps maintain a safe, organized yard while assisting service technicians and ensuring boats are properly handled before and after service.

What You’ll Be Doing:
· Assist with launching, hauling, and moving boats in the boat yard or on location
· Operate or assist with yard equipment such as forklifts, tractors, trailers, and pressure washers (training provided if needed)
· Prepare boats for service, including staging, cleaning, and positioning vessels for technicians
· Wash, clean, and detail boats as needed before delivery or storage
· Assist with shrink wrapping, winterization prep, and seasonal storage tasks
· Help load and unload boats, parts, and materials
· Maintain yard cleanliness and organization, including work areas and storage lots
· Perform basic maintenance tasks such as fueling, battery checks, and minor upkeep
· Follow all safety procedures when working around heavy equipment and vessels
· Assist service staff and management with other general yard duties as needed

Job Type: Seasonal Full Time
Schedule: 9A-5P, Weekends as needed
Pay: Starting at $18/hour, commensurate with experience
Expected Hours: 38-45 per week
Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
License/Certification:
Driver's License required
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
