The Executive Meeting Manager is responsible for proactively selling, coordinating, and executing meetings and small group events. This role primarily supports groups requiring 20–25 guest rooms or fewer and may include meeting space and food and beverage components. The Executive Meeting Manager provides hands-on support throughout the entire event lifecycle, ensuring a seamless experience from initial planning through successful event completion. Acting as the primary liaison between clients and internal hotel departments, this position ensures all event details are communicated clearly and executed flawlessly to meet client expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage the sales, planning, and execution of small group events requiring 20–25 guest rooms or fewer, including meeting space and food and beverage services.
- Act as the primary liaison for clients, providing clear communication and ensuring expectations are met throughout the event process.
- Oversee all operational components of meetings and events, including room setups, food and beverage service, audiovisual needs, and special requests.
- Lead pre-event meetings and prepare and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure accurate communication of all event requirements.
- Deliver on‑site event support, proactively addressing client needs and resolving issues to ensure a positive guest experience.
- Partner with banquet, culinary, front office, housekeeping, and engineering teams to coordinate seamless event delivery.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of client communications, event specifications, and last‑minute changes.
- Review event billing for accuracy and support post‑event follow‑up and reconciliation as needed.
- Cultivate strong client relationships to drive repeat business and generate referrals.
- Ensure all events adhere to hotel standards, policies, and brand guidelines.
- Commit a minimum of five (5) hours per week to prospecting new meeting business using company tools and resources, including Knowland.
- Schedule and conduct weekly on-site and off‑site sales appointments to develop new business opportunities.
