Summary
The Executive Meeting Manager is responsible for selling, coordinating, and executing meetings and small group events. This role focuses on booking and servicing groups with meeting space of 20-25 guest or 20-25 guest rooms or fewer, providing hands-on support and ensuring a seamless experience from planning through event completion. The Executive Meeting Manager serves as the primary liaison between clients and hotel departments, ensuring all event details are executed flawlessly while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring all event details are communicated clearly and executed accurately.
- Book, manage, and service small groups with meeting space consisting of 20 -25 attendees or 20-25 guest rooms or fewer, providing personalized, hands-on coordination throughout the event lifecycle.
- Sell, plan, and coordinate all aspects of meetings and events, including room setup, food and beverage, audio-visual, and special requests.
- Conduct pre-event meetings and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), communicating all requirements and event details to operational departments.
- Provide on-site support during events, ensuring client satisfaction and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with banquet, culinary, front office, housekeeping, and engineering teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Maintain accurate records of client communications, event details, and changes.
- Review billing for accuracy and assist with post-event follow-up as needed.
- Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and positive referrals.
- Ensure compliance with hotel standards, policies, and brand expectations.
- Dedicate a minimum of five (5) hours per week to prospecting new meeting accounts utilizing company resources, including Knowland.
- Schedule and conduct weekly onsite and outside sales appointments to generate new business opportunities.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred; or two years related experience and/or training in a hotel / resort sales environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
