In this position you will be blasting the interior and exteriors of the railcars and tank cars in preparation for the paint and lining team. 

JOB DUTIES 

• Interpret job work orders to perform required tasks
• Coordinate and complete tasks in an efficient manner and within assigned hours

• Follow all safety rules, keep work area clean and comply with all AITX EHS Policies
• Ensure AAR, ARS and customer quality assurance standards are met
• 
  

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

• Ability to read and write English at a high school level
• Ability to work in the heat and cold and in all-weather conditions
• Comfortable working around heavy equipment and on top of and under railcars, as well as around railroad tracks.
• Knowledge of machines and tools required to paint and finish rail and tank cars
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions 
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen and respiratory mask fit test
