Role Overview
American Exchange Group is looking for a versatile, high-energy Senior Digital & Graphic Designer to join our creative team with a focus on all of our brands. This role is a unique hybrid of technical execution and high-level digital artistry. You will be responsible for everything from the box the shoes arrive in to the high-converting ads on a customer's feed.
The ideal candidate is a master of the Adobe Creative Suite and Figma as well as possessing a "fashion-first" eye.

Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Retouching: Perform high-end editorial and product retouching. You must be able to manipulate lighting, color-correct footwear materials, and composite images for a polished, luxury feel.
- Brand Identity & Logos: Evolve and maintain the brands visual identity. Create logos and brand marks for new collections, sub-brands, and internal initiatives.
- Technical Packaging: Assist the design and technical setup of footwear packaging, including shoe boxes, hangtags, inserts, and wholesale labeling. Ensure all files are production-ready for global manufacturers.
- Digital Ecosystem: Design high-performing assets for the e-commerce website (banners, landing pages), email marketing campaigns, and paid social ads (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest).
- Presentations: Design visually compelling decks for line reviews, board meetings, and marketing strategies using Canva and PowerPoint.
- UI/UX Collaboration: Use Figma to build out web components and digital layouts, ensuring a seamless and modern shopping experience.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in graphic design, preferably within the fashion, footwear, or retail industry.
- Retouching: 2 years of experience in photo retouching.
- Figma Mastery: Deep proficiency in Figma for digital design and layout collaboration.
- Adobe Power User: Expert-level skills in Photoshop (advanced retouching/compositing) and Illustrator (vector art/technical packaging).
- Canva Savvy: Ability to build templates for the broader team to ensure brand consistency across all levels.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of print production, die-lines, and CMYK vs. RGB workflows.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating a clean, sophisticated aesthetic with examples of both digital marketing and physical packaging.
- Detail-Oriented: You notice the 1-pixel misalignment and the slight color variance in leather swatches.
- Adaptive: You can pivot from a technical packaging layout to a creative social media brainstorm without missing a beat.
