HR Coordinator
Location: Draper, UT
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday
We are a growing ready-mix company supporting a fast-moving, field-based workforce. This is not a typical HR role.
Our employees move between plants, projects, and roles regularly. We’re looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and ready to jump in and support HR operations, recruiting, and compliance in a hands-on environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
HR Operations & Workforce Support
- Support employee data updates including job changes, pay changes, and location transfers
- Assist with tracking employee movement between plants, projects, and roles
- Help maintain accurate labor allocations and employee records in Paycom
- Ensure employee files and documentation are complete and up to date
Onboarding & Recruiting Support
- Assist Recruiter in ensuring new hires are onboarded accurately and efficiently
- Communicate and coordinate between HR, dispatch, operations, and training to ensure a smooth onboarding process
- Review and verify I-9 and employment eligibility requirements
- Review data in systems (Paycom), ensuring accuracy and correcting errors as needed
- Assist in tracking onboarding progress and follow up to ensure all required steps are completed on time
- Provide benefit enrollment reminders and assist employees with basic questions during the onboarding process
- Help ensure new hires are fully set up, informed, and ready to start in their role
Safety & Workers’ Compensation Support
- Assist with workers’ compensation claims, documentation, and follow-up
- Help track incidents, reports, and required documentation
- Support safety compliance efforts and recordkeeping
DOT Compliance Support
- Assist with maintaining Driver Qualification (DQ) files
- Track CDL licenses, medical cards, and required driver documentation
- Monitor expiration dates and help ensure records remain current and compliant
General HR Support
- Respond to basic employee questions and direct them as needed
- Assist with HR projects and process improvements
- Support day-to-day HR tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of experience in HR, admin, recruiting, or coordination
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities
- Self-starter who takes initiative and follows through
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Experience in construction, trucking, manufacturing, or similar industry
- Exposure to safety, workers’ compensation, or DOT compliance
