We are seeking an experienced Lead Dental Assistant to oversee clinical operations, support the back-office team, and ensure a smooth and efficient daily workflow. Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support the dental assisting team
- Assist the doctor chairside during procedures
- Manage and maintain clinical flow to keep the schedule on time
- Direct the doctor to the next patient or procedure
- Communicate when procedures should begin wrapping up
- Prepare, clean, and turn over operatories efficiently
- Manage and order clinical supplies and inventory
- Maintain sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance
- Monitor the daily schedule and anticipate clinical needs
- Implement and maintain effective clinical systems
- Organize operatories, instruments, and supply areas
- Train and onboard dental assistants
- Lead Dental Assistant experience REQUIRED
- 3 years of dental assisting experience
- Strong understanding of dental procedures and instruments
- Experience managing clinical flow in a busy practice
- Experience ordering and managing inventory
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Highly organized, proactive, and team-oriented
