Key Responsibilities
- Treatment Presentation: Present and review dental treatment plans with patients in a clear, compassionate manner, ensuring they understand their oral health needs.
- Clinical Collaboration: Work closely with the dentist and clinical team to ensure seamless patient handoffs and accurate scheduling.
- Financial Coordination: Create and manage customized payment plans, including discussing third-party financing options to make care accessible.
- Insurance Navigation: Verify dental insurance coverage and clearly explain benefits and out-of-pocket estimates to patients.
- Patient Advocacy: Answer inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing outstanding customer service that helps patients feel informed and at ease.
- Administrative Support: Perform general front office duties to maintain the daily flow and organization of the practice.
- Experience: At least 1 year of dental office experience (Required).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of dental terminology and insurance verification processes.
- Communication: Confident and professional when discussing clinical treatment and financial responsibilities.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Traits: Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
