Part-time Loan Operations Support Specialist (Monday through Friday, 20 hours per week).
Functions:
Responsible for loan maintenance on Commercial, Consumer, and Residential loans; indexing documents electronically; and processing loan and credit card payments. Provide support for Loan Operations as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Update insurance policies on active loans booked in core system. This includes calling loan officers and insurance agents, mailing letters to borrowers with expired insurance policies, and applying force placed insurance if applicable.
- Scan and index insurance policies received by mail, fax, and email.
- Prepare and index loan files as well as document tracking on new loans.
- Process loan payments, credit card payments, and participation payments.
Additional Requirements:
Prior banking experience is preferred.
Organizational skills, effective interpersonal skills, and a strong work ethic are also necessary to effectively carry out assigned responsibilities.
The incumbent must also demonstrate the ability and willingness to accept changing priorities and assume different or additional responsibilities based on the needs of the organization.
While the incumbent must work closely with all members of the organization, he or she is expected to work with a strong degree of initiative and independence regarding assigned responsibilities.
