Mauch Chunk Trust is seeking a Loan Department Support Specialist to assist the Loan Department with administrative and operational functions. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate loan documentation, supporting post-closing activities, and ensuring smooth collaboration across the loan, credit, and operations teams.

This is an in-office position based in Jim Thorpe, PA, with the potential for one work-from-home day per week once trained.

What You'll Do

• Scan, organize, and index loan documentation securely within the bank's imaging system.
• Prepare, verify, and maintain collateral documentation, ensuring completeness and compliance.
• Support loan processing, post-closing, and portfolio maintenance tasks across consumer, commercial, and mortgage loans.
• Process paid loans, prepare satisfaction pieces, and release collateral when applicable.
• Generate weekly and monthly loan reports for internal and committee use.
• Prepare and issue adverse action letters in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Assist with insurance monitoring by verifying lienholder information and coverage requirements.
• Maintain fee schedules, escrow documentation, and loan-related record retention schedules.
• Purge outdated files and maintain accurate, compliant documentation archives.
• Provide responsive, professional support to internal departments, loan officers, and customers.

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business or finance preferred.
• 2 years of experience in lending, loan operations, or financial administration.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort with document management systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and delivering excellent customer service.
