This is an on-site role located in Covington, LA.
Position Summary:
The Facilities Manager coordinates and oversees activities related to building maintenance, groundskeeping, workplace safety, and security. While the Facilities Manager is not always responsible for performing tasks themselves, they supervise maintenance teams and manage vendor relationships to get work completed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate and oversee day-to-day facilities and security operations across branches, offices, and support facilities
- Implement and manage planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and corrective maintenance programs for building systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire and safety systems, Generators, HVAC, security systems, etc)
- Oversee contract administration and performance monitoring, ensuring value for money and service quality
- Ensure facilities remain fully functional, secure, and fit for purpose of supporting uninterrupted banking operations
- Regularly inspect buildings and grounds to ensure compliance with safety, security, and accessibility requirements
- Manage service request tickets to identify maintenance and repair needs across properties
- Schedule repair projects, cleaning routines, and capital improvements
- Supervise maintenance staff and delegate repair, cleaning, and facilities tasks
- Negotiate and manage service contracts with external vendors
- Manage facilities budgets
- Coordinate office relocations and workspace configurations
- Create and maintain the Security Policy for the Bank
- Create and assign annual Physical Security training for all Team Members
- Maintain updated knowledge of industry standards to ensure security policies and programs are compliant
- Serves as main point of contact for all service calls in regard to maintenance or warranty repairs
- Maintain inventory of all physical security equipment
- Maintain, assign, and remove access to the alarm system
- Conduct periodic risk assessment
- Monitor emergency plans for each branch to ensure they are sufficient and in place
- Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings related to facilities management.
- Prepare regular management reports on facilities performance, costs, compliance, and risks.
- Maintain good punctuality and attendance to work.
- Consistently support the Bank and its core values
- Follow all policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- 3-5 years relevant experience in facilities or property management (preferably in Banking or Financial Services)
- Project management experience
- Must be able to travel to multiple branch locations
- Strong knowledge of building systems and facilities operations
- Contract and vendor management expertise
- High level of planning, coordination, and problem-solving ability
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of banking principles and practices
- Proficient ability to operate a computer and navigate software
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational, time management, decision-making skills, and critical thinking
- Honesty and integrity
- Ability to follow directions, comprehend new training, and adapt to changes in policy and procedure
- Ability to work well independently and as a team
REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years relevant experience in facilities or property management (preferably in Banking or Financial Services)
