American Asphalt Paving Co., a local road and site construction company located in Shavertown, PA, is seeking skilled HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATORS for the 2026 Road Construction Season.
We are seeking skilled operators with experience on the following pieces of equipment:
- Asphalt Screed
- Roller
- Gradall
- All around Loader/Dozer/Excavator operators for our road construction crews and quarry operations
Skills and Experience:
- Prefer candidates who have 3 years’ experience operating heavy equipment,
- PennDOT and Municipal experience a plus!
- Prefer candidates who have a CDL Class-A Driver's License who can transport equipment to/from job sites, or a CDL Class-B Driver's License who can operate a water truck or a fuel truck. Tanker and/or HazMat endorsements a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability and willingness to perform physical labor when not operating heavy equipment.
- Performs all work according to OSHA and American Asphalt safety policies.
- Employees must be willing and available to work overtime, including weekends when necessary, and occasional night work.
- Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening test, and be willing to submit to, and pass, random drug/alcohol testing thereafter.
