Heavy Equipment Operator - Excavator

Experienced Excavation Equipment Operator

Tenco Construction LLC is seeking a motivated and experienced Equipment Operator to join our growing excavation team. We are a small family-owned company specializing in a wide range of earthwork projects, from residential home excavations to large-scale commercial, state, and government projects.

Responsibilities:

* Operate excavating equipment including excavators, bulldozers, skid steers, loaders, rollers, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.

* Perform residential excavation work including foundations, basements, driveways, septic systems, grading, and utility installation.

* Participate in commercial, municipal, state, and government earthwork projects.

* Read and interpret site plans, grades, and construction drawings.

* Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.

* Assist with site preparation, trenching, drainage installation, and final grading.

* Follow all OSHA and company safety regulations.

* Work effectively with crew members, contractors, inspectors, and project managers.

* Maintain a clean and professional job site.

Qualifications:

Mo* Minimum of 3 years of excavation equipment operating experience (preferred).

* Experience with residential and commercial excavation projects.

* Ability to read grades and construction plans.

* Knowledge of underground utilities and site development.

* Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus.

* Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

* Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
