Job Summary:
We are seeking an accurate, trustworthy, and detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team. Operating fully on-site, you will manage our biweekly hourly compensation process and oversee the full cycle of company benefits administration. This role requires an individual who is highly skilled with numbers, exceptionally organized, and capable of maintaining strict data confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Biweekly Payroll: Verify hourly timekeeping data to process biweekly payroll accurately using our automated payroll platform ADP Workforce Now.
- Administer Full Benefit Suite: Handle enrollments, terminations, and changes for health, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, and ancillary policies. Making adjustments to employee deductions as needed.
- Reconcile Insurance Policies: Conduct monthly audits matching insurance provider invoices against employees and their cost centers.
- Pay Benefit Invoices: Process and submit timely, accurate premium payments to all insurance vendors to ensure continuous coverage.
- Employee Support: Set up and maintain computerized personnel files. Act as the primary on-site point of contact for staff inquiries regarding hourly paychecks, time tracking, and benefit plans.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Location: Must be able to work fully on-site daily at our Gainesville, GA location.
- Experience: 1 year of experience processing hourly payroll and administering a diverse range of corporate benefit policies preferred
- Software Skills: Intermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Preferred Qualification: Prior experience processing payroll in ADP Workforce Now is preferred but not required.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of hourly wage regulations, overtime laws, and benefit pre-tax/post-tax deduction structures.
- Soft Skills: High numerical aptitude, exceptional attention to detail, and a strict commitment to confidentiality.
