The marketing team works as an internal agency and this role will support multiple retail and ecommerce brands, including America’s Floor Source. 

Position Summary
 AFS Group is seeking a Website Content and Email Automation Specialist to manage, update, and optimize all website content and email automations across our brands. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented marketer who enjoys blending creativity with technical precision. You’ll be responsible for ensuring our websites are up to date, visually engaging, and optimized for SEO — while also managing automated email journeys that engage customers and drive conversions.

Key Responsibilities

Website Management

• Update and maintain website content, including product pages, landing pages, forms, and promotional banners.
• Ensure all product information, imagery, and copy are accurate and aligned with current campaigns.
• Refresh content and products regularly and improve user experience.
• Post weekly content to blogs across all websites.
• Optimize on-page SEO elements (titles, metadata, links, keywords).
• Collaborate with Digital Advertising Specialist to monitor performance metrics/customer journeys and recommend improvements.
• Support campaign launches by coordinating website updates and related email content.
• Coordinate with web developers or vendors on technical updates as needed.

Email Marketing & Automation

• Build, test, and deploy automated email workflows and customer journeys (welcome series, cart abandonment, post-purchase, etc.).
• Create and schedule promotional and lifecycle email campaigns in coordination with marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with Copywriter and Graphic Designer to ensure email that reflects the buyers journey stage, brand tone, encourages engagement, and conversion. 
• Monitor performance metrics (open rate, click rate, conversions) and recommend improvements.
• Ensure all emails follow brand design guidelines and are optimized for mobile.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience managing website content and/or email automation.
• This role requires strong Shopify expertise — from managing product listings and collections to implementing content updates and supporting sitewide campaigns that enhance the customer experience.
• Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact, SharpSpring, HubSpot).
• Strong understanding of SEO, UX best practices, and digital analytics.
• Excellent writing, editing, and project management skills.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
