Special Education Teacher | $50/hr | Full-Time | San Tan Valley, AZ | 2025–2026 School Year

Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring a full-time Resource Special Education Teacher to support grades 3–6 in San Tan Valley, Arizona. This in-person role begins December 5, 2025, and runs through May 2026.

Position Overview:

• Area: San Tan Valley, AZ

• Start Date: December 5, 2025

• Duration: 36 weeks

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM (40 hours/week, 30-minute unpaid lunch)

• Pay: $50/hr

• Modality: In-person

• Interview Type: Virtual or in-person

Classroom Details:

• Grade Level: 3rd–6th

• Type: Resource SPED

• Caseload: Up to 25 students

• Support: Paraprofessionals in classroom

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support for students with IEPs

• Collaborate with general education staff and participate in team planning

• Deliver tutorial assistance and consultation

• Maintain documentation and comply with professional standards

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Arizona teaching certificate (Cross-Categorical preferred)

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

• One year of teaching experience (preferred)

• LBS1 endorsement preferred

• CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
