Responsibilities
- As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the youth in achieving their goals through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Implement Behavior Plans: Follow individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the supervising BCBA
- Behavioral Support Strategies: Utilize behavior-analytic strategies to support the youth
- Accurately track client progress
- Client Engagement: Provide positive reinforcement and professional communication to encourage skill development and behavior improvement
- Challenging Behaviors: Manage and address challenging behaviors according to individualized behavior plans and training
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Ability to pass a background check and TB test (Required)
- Reliable transportation to school sites
- Strong communication and interpersonal skill
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Current CPR if applicable
