NOW HIRING: Staffing Coordinator/ Medical Records Clerk- Full Time
The Staffing Coordinator/ Medical Records Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring the Nursing Staff has all the necessary medical supplies they need and ensures proper staffing.
The responsibilities will include :
- Receiving and verifying medical supplies coming to the facility, records information for reordering, stocks, and accounts for medical supplies and billing.
- Helping conduct audits, gathering and filing patient information and processing discharge papers.
- Preparing patient charts and gathering information and documents from patients
- Ensuring that the medical records are organized, accurate and complete
- Creating digital copies of paperwork and storing the records electronically
- Filing the paperwork and reports of inpatients quickly and accurately
- Safeguarding patient records and ensuring that everyone complies with the HIPAA standards
- Transferring data into the facility’s main system database
- Processing the records for admitting and discharging patients
- Preparing invoices
Qualifications:
Highschool Diploma/Equivalent
Computer Skills - Microsoft Word/Excel
SNF/LTC Experience- Previous Central Supply or Medical Records experience in a healthcare setting preferred
