Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic Med/Surg/Telemetry Float Pool team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality patient care across a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, including medical-surgical units, telemetry, critical care, and specialty areas. The ideal candidate will possess a broad clinical skill set, including experience with EMR systems such as Epic and Cerner, and demonstrate adaptability in fast-paced environments. This position emphasizes comprehensive patient assessment, medication administration, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes. Duties
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients across multiple units, including medical-surgical, telemetry, ICU, and specialty areas such as ophthalmology or geriatrics.
- Perform thorough patient assessments, vital sign monitoring, and documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner.
- Administer medications and injections accurately while adhering to aseptic technique and safety protocols.
- Assist with complex procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, suturing, tube feeding, and ventilator management.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.
Skills
- 1 years of MedSurg/Tele experience needed.
- Current Ohio RN License.
- Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association ONLY.
