Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) care to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive critical care experience, demonstrating proficiency in managing complex patient needs within a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. As an RN ICU, you will provide expert nursing care to critically ill patients, coordinate multidisciplinary treatments, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. Your expertise will contribute significantly to patient recovery and well-being through compassionate, precise, and evidence-based practices.
Duties
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting, including assessment, monitoring vital signs, and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments such as IV infusions, ventilator management, and aseptic techniques with precision and adherence to protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists in procedures including cardiac catheterization, trauma medicine, and infectious disease care to optimize patient outcomes.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate documentation of patient care activities and medical records management.
- Conduct patient assessments, perform physical examinations, and evaluate physiological responses to interventions while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
Requirement:-
- 2 years of recent ICU experience needed.
- RN License.
- BLS Certification.
- ACLS Certification
- PALS Certification
- NIHSS Certification (Required for SICU assignment)
