Description
We are seeking a product leader to own the long-term vision, strategy and general management of Prime Reading, a digital books benefit for Prime members. In this role, you'll define the product vision and strategy, develop requirements, and influence roadmaps of partner teams across Amazon to drive implementation. You also be the general manager of the program, responsible for building tools and mechanisms to oversee it and deliver results globally, and reporting results to Books leadership.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop and align cross functional stakeholders, Books and Prime leadership to the strategic program objectives and north star vision for Prime Reading
- Partner with design to develop a CX aligned to that vision
- Partner with various tech, product, vendor management, finance, and science teams to get your product requirements prioritized and built
- Build mechanisms and tools to manage the program on an ongoing basis
- Oversee business results and report to Books and Prime leadership
Basic Qualifications
- 5 years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Experience in areas such as market research, statistics, finance or qualitative/quantitative research

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
