- Commercial and Out-of-Network insurance verification experience required
- Previous admissions or call center experience preferred
- Knowledge of substance use disorder treatment and the recovery process
- Strong understanding of insurance verification, client financial responsibility, and admissions processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Assess the clinical and financial eligibility of prospective clients.
- Verify commercial insurance benefits and determine out-of-network coverage and client financial responsibility.
- Review payment options and calculate any out-of-pocket costs for prospective clients.
- Evaluate pre-assessments and medical records to determine the appropriate level of care.
- Collaborate with the Call Center team and Admissions leadership to facilitate timely admissions.
- Communicate financial and clinical eligibility decisions professionally and accurately.
- Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
- Provide support to the Call Center team throughout the admissions process.
