Caregiver

Job Description and Duties:

1. Debrief
2. Begin next rounds, toileting residents and assisting as needed.
3. Finish any wet or soiled laundry. Fold and put away.
4.  Mop hallways, common area, public restrooms, and wash windows as needed.
5. Take 10-minute break.
6. Begin last rounds and toileting residents and assist with dressing, personal hygiene, and grooming. Do showers scheduled.
7. Debrief with oncoming shift. Ensure all residents are accounted for and all bed and chair alarms are on those who need them.
8. Continue assisting with waking up residents, dressing, personal hygiene, grooming, etc.
9. All other duties as assigned dependent on the needs of the care department.
10. with previous shift. Do walk around to check on all residents. Ensure all chair and/or bed alarms are on residents who need them.
11. Begin rounds by toileting residents and assist with other care needs. Always rinse, bag, and wash wet or soiled laundry immediately. Use proper hand washing.
12. Take 10-minute break.

Job Qualifications: 

1.   Must be at least 18 years of age

1. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
2. Must have ability to follow directions.
3. Shall have criminal record clearance prior to presence in the facility
4. Shall have a health screening and TB test, performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to employment. The TB test results will be received within seven (7) days of employment; the health screening report will be received within thirty (30) days of employment.
5. Shall have appropriate training in first aid from persons qualified by such agencies as the American Red Cross.

Salary : $18 - $21
