Scheduler (2nd shift)

Requirements For Home Care Scheduler:
- Minimum of two years experience in scheduling in Home Care
- Home Care Recruiting Experience a plus!
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to develop relationships with clients and staff
- Ability to fill in for care team as a caregiver in emergency situations
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Advanced computer skills in business related applications (Office, Excel, etc. AxisCare a plus!)
- A current driver's license and a dependable insured automobile
- A professional appearance and promotes a positive work environment
- Ability to multi-task effectively and be organized.
Responsibilities for Home Care Scheduler:
- Assist with answering calls that come into the office.
- Promptly answers inquiries from potential and current clients.
- Ensure all information regarding clients and employees is documented thoroughly in accordance with company policy.
- Reach out to caregivers weekly for current availability, document and record.
- Validate caregiver hours worked, routing appropriately for payroll processing.
- Accurately coordinate schedules based on client assessment & plan of care.
- Promptly respond to schedule conflicts, emergencies and “call outs”
- Complete next business day/weekend schedules before the end of each business day.
- Checks for exceptions (electronic timecards) daily to fill in holes. Exceptions should be done first thing in the morning and kept up daily.
- Manage scheduling operations including the placement, case coverage, off-hour support, and quality assurance of clients.
- Recruit, interview and on-board qualified candidates that pass hiring standards.
- Be reliable, responsive and convey a high degree of trust and empathy for every client.
- Report to Administrator who would be the best candidate for employee recognition programs.
- Enter and record Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Come to weekly staff meetings prepared to discuss issues or concerns, Staffing needs/concerns/challenges, and Clean up census (weekly)
