This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Biller located in Florida, United States. The Medical Biller will handle billing operations, including preparing and submitting claims, working on claim denials, verifying insurance coverage, and ensuring accurate coding using ICD-10 standards. The role also involves coordinating with insurance companies, supporting revenue cycle management, and maintaining compliance with Medicare and other billing regulations.
- Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology and proficiency in understanding medical documentation
- Experience in managing claim Denials and working with Insurance processes
- Proficiency in ICD-10 coding and understanding of billing codes
- Understanding of Medicare guidelines and compliance
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Previous experience in medical billing or a related field is preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in medical billing or coding is a plus
