A respected and growing home care organization is seeking a highly organized, self-motivated Service Coordinator to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and understands the importance of matching the right caregiver with the right client.
This is not simply a scheduling position. We are looking for a professional who can think critically, prioritize effectively, make sound decisions independently, and provide exceptional customer service to both clients and caregivers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and maintain caregiver schedules while ensuring the best caregiver-to-client match.
- Balance client needs, caregiver availability, skills, personalities, and geographic location.
- Answer and manage a high volume of incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently.
- Communicate promptly with clients, caregivers and office staff.
- Anticipate staffing challenges and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Maintain accurate documentation and scheduling records.
- Conduct timely follow-up with caregivers and clients.
- Ensure continuity of care by filling open shifts quickly while maintaining service quality.
- Exercise sound judgment when making staffing decisions with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of (in house CSR) office experience
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Valid driver's license and own reliable transportation.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to make confident, independent decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional telephone etiquette and outstanding customer service skills.
- Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn scheduling software quickly.
- Reliable, dependable, and capable of working independently without micromanagement.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professionalism in all interactions.
