We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Consultant to join our team at Pacificare Health Management in Los Angeles, CA. As a Nurse Consultant, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to our long-term care facilities to improve quality of care and compliance with regulatory standards. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $175K-$190K ANNUALLY.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical support and guidance to facilities to improve quality of care and compliance with regulatory standards
- Conduct surveys and assessments to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for resolution
- Develop and implement performance improvement plans to monitor compliance with survey plans of correction and other regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with facility leaders and staff to identify and address quality of care issues and trends
- Provide training and education to staff on quality improvement principles and the development, implementation, and monitoring of performance improvement plans
- Monitor and report on quality of care indicators and trends to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with facility leaders, staff, and other stakeholders
- Participate in departmental meetings and committees to provide input and guidance on quality of care issues
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent required
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in California
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Strong background and knowledge of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) and long-term care regulations
- Proficient with the use of PointClickCare
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to travel as needed
- Competitive salary range of $120,000 - $120,000 ANNUALLY
