We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at Studebaker Healthcare Center in Norwalk, California. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, psycho-social, and spiritual needs are met.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement the established plan of care for each assigned group of residents under the direct supervision of a registered nurse
- Provide total care for chronically ill and technologically dependent residents, including administration of medications and performance of treatments
- Develop and maintain a record of the care provided to each resident
- Collaborate with all levels of nursing personnel, physicians, and department managers to provide individualized resident care
- Provide resident assessment-related education and maintain knowledge of age-specific care
- Current, valid Licensed Vocational Nurse licensure to practice in the State of California
- Current BCLS certification
- LVN graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- At least six months prior LVN experience in a general acute care hospital setting or acquired equivalent competency in a similar setting
- Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical information, and to communicate effectively in the English language
- Competitive hourly rate: $32 - $43
