Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Supervision:

Lead and mentor a team of welders and fabricators, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety protocols.

Assign tasks based on team members' skills and project requirements.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.

Delegate work orders and plan based on Aging Reports.

Welding & Fabrication:

Perform welding operations using various techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.

Fabricate metal components and assemblies according to engineering specifications.

Inspect completed welds for quality, ensuring they meet industry standards.

Blueprint Interpretation & Planning:

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

Plan and organize workflow to meet production schedules and deadlines.

Ensure all materials and tools are prepared and available for fabrication tasks.

Safety & Compliance:

Enforce safety standards and ensure the team complies with all safety regulations.

Conduct regular safety training sessions and toolbox talks.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment to prevent accidents.

Quality Control & Documentation:

Monitor the quality of work produced, ensuring it meets company and industry standards.

Document all fabrication processes, materials used, and any deviations from standard procedures.

Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.

Qualifications
Qualifications:

Education & Certification:
-
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in welding/fabrication preferred.

AWS or equivalent welding certification is a plus.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in welding and fabrication, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Proven experience in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick).

Strong leadership and team management skills.
