CONCEPT: This is not a production line job. Understands the level of quality and workmanship that is required to be a successful employee and member of his/her team.
Experience in building custom aluminum products start to finish, including trailers, truck bodies, fire and rescue beds and service bodies. Need to be able to lead a small team and train, if needed. A higher starting wage if a quick learner of fabrication and craftsmanship.
DUTIES PERFORMED ON A REGULAR DAY-TO-DAY BASIS FOR ALL SHOP EMPLOYEES:
Tasks/Responsibilities
- Willing to be trained in various products
- Likes custom work and variety
- Be a team player.
- Ask questions and retain information.
- Ability to read tape measure and drawings.
- Overtime may be available
- Read and follow work orders.
- Lift up to 70 pounds (or more with assistance)
- Assist other employees (within your abilities) whenever necessary.
- Operate any small hand tools used in manufacturing Alum-Line products.
Safety
- Maintain a clean work area and proper maintenance of equipment.
- Obey all safety expectations set by Alum-Line
- Attend monthly safety meetings.
