Essential Functions
- Create CAD models for new and modified components and accessories.
- Create and revise engineering drawings of new and existing products.
- Write and execute testing protocols for verification testing.
- Assist engineers in the development of prototype components.
- Assist in building prototypes of new and modified products.
- Support troubleshooting of technical issues.
- Perform risk evaluation/update Risk Management files as required.
- Assist with component part pricing as necessary.
- Understands and adheres to Quality & Compliance policies and procedures.
- Follows safety procedures and maintains a clean and safe work environment.
- Utilizes appropriate personal protective equipment where/when necessary.
- Contributes to a respectful, non-hostile, non-violent work environment.
- Understands the purpose, value, and impact work has on product customers and users.

- Full time student of at least junior status or higher, currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program in Industrial Design, Engineering, Drafting / Design Engineering.
- GPA 3.0 or greater required.
- Computer skills and Microsoft Office knowledge required.
- Excellent oral and technical writing skills.
- Working knowledge of mechanical and industrial design including strengths of materials, life cycle or durability calculations, visual design elements, aesthetics, ergonomics, etc. preferred.
- Performs work in primarily an office environment using computer, telephone, and general office equipment.
- Position may include prolonged periods of standing or sitting, and occasional bending and twisting.
- Position requires ability to perform keyboarding and prolonged periods of computer screen time.
- Requires ability to speak clearly; vision sufficient for reading documents, and hearing acuity to communicate effectively.
