What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineer Intern position at Altimate Medical Inc?
JOB SUMMARY
The Engineer Intern works closely with the Research and Development team, partnering with various team members to learn functions in developing, designing, testing, and inspecting AMHI’s products. They provide engineering support where needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Create CAD models for new and modified components and accessories.
2. Create and revise engineering drawings of new and existing products.
3. Write and execute testing protocols for verification testing.
4. Assist engineers in the development of prototype components.
5. Assist in building prototypes of new and modified products.
6. Support troubleshooting of technical issues.
7. Perform risk evaluation/update Risk Management files as required.
8. Assist with component part pricing as necessary.
9. Understands and adheres to Quality & Compliance policies and procedures.
10. Follows safety procedures and maintains a clean and safe work environment.
11. Utilizes appropriate personal protective equipment where/when necessary.
12. Contributes to a respectful, non-hostile, non-violent work environment.
13. Understands the purpose, value, and impact work has on product customers and users.
Other duties as assigned.
