Administrative Assistant – Dakota Riggers and Tool Supply Now Hiring!
Part- Time | On-Site | Sioux Falls, SD

Are you someone who loves keeping things organized, helping people, and making sure the day runs smoothly? We’re looking for an Administrative Assistant who will serve as the friendly face of our office while supporting essential daily operations. If you’re known for your professionalism, strong communication skills, and ability to juggle multiple tasks at once, we’d love to meet you!

What You’ll Do

You’ll support the business through a mix of front-office responsibilities, administrative coordination, and light accounting assistance, including:

  • Greeting visitors, answering phones, and responding to general inquiries
  • Managing mail, deliveries, logging checks, and maintaining the cash box
  • Handling client requests with courtesy and accuracy
  • Preparing documents, maintaining organized filing systems (paper digital)
  • Tracking Certificates of Insurance and Tax Certificates for vendors and clients
  • Assisting with credit applications and ACH documentation
  • Monitoring and ordering office and breakroom supplies
  • Entering invoices, supporting accounts payable/receivable
  • Reconciling small cash transactions and assisting with month-end tasks
  • Coordinating pickups/deliveries with shipping vendors
Providing general office support wherever needed

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent (business coursework a plus)
  • 1–2 years of experience in an office or customer service environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail
  • Friendly, professional communication skills
Reliability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Preferred (but not required):

  • Experience with invoices, payments, or basic accounting processes
  • Familiarity with common office equipment (printers, scanners, etc.)
Knowledge of COIs, vendor documentation, or business-record tracking
