About the role
We're a luxury-goods e-commerce company that sells rare and limited pieces to a discerning clientele. We're hiring a Shipping & Handling Specialist to take full ownership of our physical merchandise flow — the person who makes sure every item is received, inspected, documented, and packed with meticulous care before it goes out the door.
Because the pieces we handle are valuable and often one-of-a-kind, precision and trustworthiness matter more than anything. This is a hands-on, detail-obsessed role for someone who takes pride in getting it exactly right, every time — while still keeping our shipments moving quickly.
This is an urgent backfill, so we're looking to move fast for the right person.
What you'll do
- Receive and inspect incoming merchandise, checking condition and accuracy against records
- Photograph and video-document each item to create a clear, verifiable record
- Pack goods securely and professionally to protect high-value, delicate pieces in transit
- Manage inventory movement and keep item records accurate and up to date
- Coordinate outbound shipments and ensure orders go out promptly and correctly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure handling area
What we're looking for
- Meticulous attention to detail — you catch what others miss
- A high level of trustworthiness and discretion when handling valuable goods
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a steady flow of inventory
- Comfort with photo/video documentation and basic inventory tools
- Reliability and a strong, consistent work ethic — this seat can't sit empty
- Ability to work fully on-site in Atlanta, GA
Nice to have
- Experience in shipping, fulfillment, warehouse, or inventory roles
- Experience handling high-value, fragile, or luxury items
- Familiarity with shipping carriers and packing best practices
