What You’ll Do
Chart & Documentation Audits
- Conduct routine and spot-check chart audits to ensure regulatory compliance\
- Communicate deficiencies and required corrections clearly and professionally
- Track audit findings and support timely follow-up and self-correction
Facility & Survey Preparation Audits
- Perform environmental and facility audits in preparation for licensing and accreditation surveys
- Report deficiencies to Compliance and leadership teams
- Support survey readiness for DHCS, DSS, Joint Commission, and CARF standards
Compliance & Quality Support
- Assist with licensing and accreditation audit preparation, including personnel file audits
- Support medication invoice and facility log audits in collaboration with Finance
- Maintain, track, and fulfill medical record requests and Plans of Supervision
- Track in-service trainings and staff acknowledgements\
- Assist with compliance reporting and quality improvement initiatives

- Professional communicator who can deliver audit feedback tactfully
- Objective and unbiased in reporting deficiencies and corrections

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Prior experience in behavioral health compliance preferred.
- Familiarity with chart audits and regulatory standards (DHCS, DSS, Joint Commission, CARF preferred)
- Strong reporting, documentation, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Valid California Driver’s License required
- Must pass a LiveScan criminal background check
- CPR & First Aid Certification required
