Alta Technologies, a leader in enterprise IT hardware and sustainability through reuse, is seeking a creative, scrappy, and resourceful In-House Videographer to help us tell our stories and showcase our people, products, and mission.
This hands-on role is responsible for all aspects of video production - from planning and filming to editing, publishing, organizing content libraries, and repurposing clips for different platforms.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment where speed and consistency matter as much as polish, and where creativity meets execution. This blends two of our core values - Real, Authentic & Caring along with Make Ship Happen.
We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just capture moments but creates stories that resonate with customers, employees, and the broader community. You’ll work mostly on-site at our Plymouth refurbishment center, with some flexibility for editing or special projects offsite, and occasional travel to events, conferences, and locations connected to our industry, team and clients.
Who You Are:

- Are passionate about storytelling and brand building through video.
- Can balance speed and quality, knowing when “done is better than perfect.”
- Have experience with shooting, lighting, sound, and editing.
- Are tech-curious and excited to use AI and modern tools to enhance your workflow.
- Enjoy collaborating across departments and have a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.
What You’ll Do:
Plan, shoot, and edit a variety of video projects including:
- Event highlights
- Employee interviews and culture content
- Client testimonials
- Product and process videos
- Explainer Videos
- Case Study Videos
- Company tours
- Short-form videos for TikTok, LinkedIn, and Instagram
- Interviews or podcast-style content.
Organize and manage a library of raw footage, b-roll, and finished assets for easy access and ongoing use.
Repurpose long-form videos into multiple short-form clips
Create reusable templates and editing processes to maximize efficiency and consistency.
Collaborate with leadership, marketing, and other teams to identify content opportunities.
Travel occasionally to conferences and offsite locations (paid travel).
Help evolve Alta’s brand by suggesting new concepts, formats, and video storytelling approaches
You’ll Excel Here If You Have:
- 2 years of professional video production experience (agency, in-house, or freelance).
- Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve) as well as tools such as CapCut and Canva.
- Experience with audio and lighting equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail.
- Comfort with rapid turnaround content while maintaining a strong brand aesthetic.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and trends, especially LinkedIn.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience using AI tools for editing or content generation such as Google VEO3, HeyGen, etc..
- Knowledge of motion graphics or basic animation.
- Experience working with B2B companies.
