Position Details
- Title: Senior Buyer
- Location: Corona, CA
- Schedule: Fully on-site, Monday–Friday
- Typical hours: 8 AM–5 PM (some flexibility)
- Client is a manufacturer of premium leather and fabric care products
Manage purchasing for:
- Packaging materials
- Bottles
- Caps
- Boxes
- Other packaging-related components
- Majority of purchasing is import/international focused (90%)
- Review MRP system daily
- Place purchase orders
- Coordinate freight forwarding/logistics
- Manage import prioritization and shipments
- Source new vendors (especially overseas suppliers)
- Participate in pricing/contracts/negotiations
- Work closely with product development team
- Manage high-volume email communication
- Monitor/respond to shared purchasing inbox
Required Experience
- Purchasing-focused background
- Import experience/exposure
- Packaging materials experience
- ERP system experience
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
