Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Range: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (DOE)
Job Summary
Alpine Dental is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Front Office / Insurance Verification Coordinator to join our team in Mount Vernon, WA. This role plays a key part in ensuring our patients have a smooth and informed experience by verifying insurance coverage and supporting front desk operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits prior to patient appointments
Accurately enter and maintain insurance information in the system
Communicate benefit details, copays, and coverage information to patients
Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient check-in/check-out
Collaborate with clinical and billing staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Maintain confidentiality of patient records and insurance information
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in a dental front office or insurance verification role
Proficient understanding of dental insurance plans and verification procedures
Experience with Dentrix dental software preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Professional, courteous, and customer-service oriented
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced team environment
