We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, preventing loss, and responding to emergencies while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. This is a mobile patrol Job Offering part-time work 30hrs per week , 1st shifts and must be available Friday, Saturday & Sunday !!!
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and parking lots.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to deter theft and vandalism.
- Maintain surveillance using CCTV systems and report any suspicious activities.
- Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
- Manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
Experience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems is beneficial.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques is an asset.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
