What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaning Technician position at Alpha Q, Inc.?
Alpha Q, Inc. is seeking a Cleaning Technician to join our team! This is a part-time, first shift position and will be located at our Colchester, CT manufacturing facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the position to include, but not limited to:
- Perform daily cleaning of office areas, including emptying trash, replacing liners, vacuuming high-traffic areas, and maintaining clean entry glass
- Maintain cleanliness in production areas by removing trash and replacing liners as needed
- Service break rooms by restocking paper goods and soap, cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, maintaining appliances, and ensuring floors and surrounding areas are clean and sanitary
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, partitions, and floors, while ensuring all supplies are fully stocked
- Use proper cleaning agents and disinfectants to maintain a hygienic environment
- Identify and address spills, stains, and high-touch surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards
- Perform other tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior cleaning or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Strong attention to detail, trustworthiness, and reliability
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Education Required:
High school or vocational graduate
Hours:
This is a part-time position, Monday - Thursday, 5:30 am - 10:30 am.
