Alpha & Omega Kids provides high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with special needs. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Behavior Technician to join our team and provide one-on-one support to a medically fragile child in Flushing, NY.Position Summary:
The Behavior Technician will implement individualized ABA treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role requires experience, professionalism, and sensitivity, as services will be provided to a medically fragile child who requires careful attention and tailored support.Responsibilities:
- Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy in the home/community setting
- Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by the BCBA
- Collect accurate data on targeted skills and behaviors
- Collaborate with family members and the supervising BCBA to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain professionalism and respect confidentiality at all times
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of ABA experience (required)
- Experience working with medically fragile children (preferred)
- RBT certification (preferred, not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Must pass background check and provide required clearances
Schedule & Pay:
- Flexible schedule (after-school and/or weekend availability preferred)
- Competitive hourly rate: $22 – $28 per hour (based on experience & credentials)
