Technical Support Analyst

• We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Entry-Level Help Desk Technician to provide first-line technical support to end-users. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for technology, problem-solving, and delivering excellent customer service. You will assist with diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues for internal staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to help desk requests via phone, email, or ticketing system.
• Provide first-level support for technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and software applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Document all support activities and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support as needed.
• Assist in setting up new user accounts, workstations, and basic onboarding IT tasks.
• Follow up with users to ensure issues have been resolved satisfactorily.
• Maintain knowledge base articles and user guides for common support topics.
• Support IT inventory tracking and equipment checkouts.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
• 0–1 year of experience in a help desk or technical support role (internship or academic experience acceptable).

Skills:

• Basic understanding of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, email clients, and web browsers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Customer-service mindset with a willingness to learn.

Preferred (but not required):

• Experience with a ticketing system (e.g., Zendesk, Jira, ServiceNow).
• Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP).
• CompTIA A or similar entry-level certification.

Job Type: Temp-to-hire

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
