Position: Litigation Attorney

Summary:
A Litigation Attorney is sought to join a growing legal team in Southwest Michigan. Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in litigation proceedings, including trials, hearings, discovery, and motion practice.
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
- Take and defend depositions, and work with expert witnesses.
- Collaborate closely with paralegals, legal assistants, and attorneys.
- Maintain clear and responsive communication with clients and colleagues regarding case developments.
- Provide tailored legal counsel and develop case strategies aligned with client needs.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
- Excellent client service and professional communication.
- Ability to manage case files and meet deadlines using legal practice management systems.
Education and Experience:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a practicing attorney.
- Licensed to practice law in the state of Michigan.
- Background in commercial litigation required.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $140,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
